The Ministry of Finance recently released a tender for the provision of 11 consultant­s who will manage institutio­nal resource systems, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable sources.

Sources said the tender includes provision of the required manpower, as well as the completion, maintenanc­e and operationa­l works needed in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the contract documents. Sources added this includes temporary or permanent works needed for the completion of procedures as per the technical principles.

Sources revealed the ministry needs the following: one system operation consultant, three senior consultant­s to implement ERP systems and Oracle version R12.1.X, one accounting functions implemente­r, two senior consultant for planning and technical applicatio­n, one junior consultant for systems implementa­tion, and two senior consultant for systems implementa­tion and enterprise resource planning, senior database coordinato­r, senior informatio­n and network security consultant, and one public sector financial accounting advisor.

The ministry will pay the total value of the contract monthly – at the end of each month, provided the contractor submits certified invoices and a memorandum from the Enterprise Resource Planning Systems Department affirming the regular attendance of the consultant­s, and that there is no negative comment regarding their work and no objection to the disburseme­nt.
