Protect public funds Between a President and MP

- By Ali Ahmed Al-Baghli Former Minister of Oil Email: ali-albaghli@hotmail.com

“ALLAH does not change what is in a nation unless they change what is in themselves”. Last Monday, an honorable sentence was imposed on former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. He was sentenced to several years in prison for a petty crime, yet you ask us not to express our admiration for the West, which you consider infidels. He or they in the West apply the teachings of religions, including

Islam, better than us thousands of times!!!

Our money was stolen from the

Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS), Army funds, Euro Fighter, Jaber Bridge and hundreds of millions of others. The thieves still walk in our midst or outside, unharmed by those who praise the teachings of Islam day and night. We believe in the Islam of our rightlyguided caliphs and the Islam of Omar bin Abdul Aziz. As for your Islam, it is the Islam of the insane caliphs who enslaved the creation of God, obtained unlawful money and conserved it for themselves and those close to them.

Otherwise, tell me how your irrational government could allow hundreds of people to gather in support of a lawmaker with a loud mouth reminding us about a lawmaker who dodged a prison sentence imposed on him.

This happened under the ear and glare (in full view) of the irrational last Monday, while we live in the corona pandemic era which caused the bankruptcy of hundreds of Kuwait’s commercial enterprises, expatriate youths and families due to irrational decisions that are ill-considered, illogical and unprecedented!

O government, why are you with some people and against others? Why did your ministers of Health and Interior not join the centenary gathering in support of the new MP with a loud mouth?! It is an open movement to influence the court ruling that will be issued against him - the MP - for violating the law in broad daylight.

These two incidents happened in one day, that is, the issuance of a prison sentence for a former superpower president, and the silence and negligence of a government that claims Arabism and Islam in front of a dangerous gathering which exposes hundreds to death, forcing us to extend our tongues to those with long beards and shorter ‘dishdashas’ who formally claim Islam and ask: Where are you from?!

Why we did not hear any word of protest from you about the violation of the most important principle of the Islamic religion - justice and equality between the ruler and the ruled?!

Therefore, we hope you return your hypocritical tongues to your throats when we are proud of our tradition, and our admiration for the unbelieving West in your view and the Muslim more than you in our view. We hope that in the future, we will not hear from you a single word blaming us when we show this unrivaled admiration for the West, its customs, traditions and path.
