‘Reconsense’ to issue second part of Governance Research
KUWAIT CITY, March 3: The ‘Reconsense’ Center for Research and Studies said it will issue the second part of a series of research papers on the file of governance in Kuwait this March, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The Center’s Executive Vice-President, Yousef Al-Ghoussein, said the Center published the first part of this specialized research series last February, which dealt with the government role in codifying governance, and governance applications at both the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Capital Markets Authority. The second part of this research series will focus on two main points – the Audit Bureau and Nazaha.
Dr Dawood Salman bin Issa, Professor of Comparative Jurisprudence and Islamic Finance at the Kuwaiti International College of Law, and Ahmed AlBadr, Director-General of the Taiba Center for Sharia Consulting, who specializes in regulatory compliance, governance, combating money-laundering operations, terrorist financing and risk management, and Nasser Salah Burasli will contribute to preparing research papers.
Burasli holds a degree in regulatory compliance (University of Manchester) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in supervision of banks and investment companies.
Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Fawaz AlKhaled received at the GovernorateGeneral Office, the Greek Ambassador to Kuwait, Konstantinos Piperigos.
During the meeting both sides exchanged cordial views and discussed closed relationship between the leaderships and peoples of the two countries and ways to strengthen them in all fields.
The meeting also touched upon the opportunities available to develop the existing joint cooperation and exchange experiences between the two countries in general, and at the level of local administrative systems, governorates and regions in particular.
At the end of the meeting both sides exchanged commemorative shields.
