According to the decision, the hours of each educational stage were divided according to the nature of the stage and what is required for the interest of work.

The working hours for the kindergarten employees will begin at 9:30 am and end at 12 noon. The children in the kindergarten stage will have two shifts, starting from 10:00 am.

The working hours of the elementary school will be from 12 noon to 3:00 pm. The classes for the students of the elementary school will start from 1:00 pm and end by 2:55 pm.

The working hours of the intermediate school will be from 9:00 am to 12 noon. The first class for intermediate school students will start at 9:15 am, and the last session will be at 10:45 am. Each class will last for 35 minutes.

The working hours of the secondary school will be from 10:45 am to 1:45 am. The first class for students of this stage will be at 11 am, and the last session will end at 1:35 pm.

Al-Maqsid affirmed that all of the educational bodies, including teachers, supervisors, heads of departments and technical mentors of various educational stages, will work remotely from their homes. The teachers who want to take their classes from their schools are allowed to attend in the event that they do not have the necessary facilities in their homes.

He stressed that the attendance of school administration staff, the principals and deputy principals, and the staff of the administrative and support bodies shall happen on rotation basis as per the previous bulletins in this regard.

Meanwhile, Director-General of Kuwait Municipality, Eng Ahmad Al-Manfouhi has issued a decision to amend the working hours for home delivery service by restaurants during the month of Ramadan, reports Al-Anba daily.

The decision stipulates that from the first day of Ramadan shopping in cooperative societies and supermarkets is permitted from 7:00 pm until midnight provided the person applies for a barcode.

Al-Manfouhi’s decision includes the amendment of his previous decision regarding food home delivery requests in line with Cabinet’s decision to amend the partial ban times, which start Thursday from 7:00 pm until five in the morning and the home delivery service continues until 10:00 pm in the evening until the beginning of the month of Ramadan.

It should be noted that the decision did not mention any amendment to the working hours of shops, so they continue working from five in the morning until six in the evening.
