MoE joins hands with MoH to ‘train’ high school personnel
KUWAIT CITY, April 10: The Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Development Affairs at the Ministry of Education Rajaa Bouarki affirmed that the training workshop, which was held in coordination with the Ministry of Health, was aimed at training educational personnel in preparation for receiving the 12th graders in accordance with health requirements and for creating a safe environment for them to undergo paperbased examinations, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The recent training workshop for heads of high school committees was based on recommendations from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. It was held under the auspices of the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Development and Activities Faisal AlMaqsid.
In this regard, the Director General of the Hawally Educational Zone General Administration Walid bin Ghaith explained that the training workshop is the first-of-its-kind for the heads of the committees of the public and private high schools of the Hawally Educational Zone, and was held with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health.
He revealed that the Hawally Educational Zone will receive 7,150 students who will be distributed to 45 examination committees by a maximum of 170 students for every committee.
Bin Ghaith stressed that the workshop aims to train human cadres on working in schools, and prepare them to receive grade 12 students to sit for final exams.
He added that the educational zone is exerting tremendous efforts to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students, to adhere to all health requirements issued by the Ministry of Health and to figure out how to manage the committees safely.
