KUWAIT CITY, June 14, (KUNA): The Kuwaiti Ministry of Education said that about 700 male and female students from foreign and bilingual schools launched the final exams for the secondary stage at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Ali Al-Yaqoub, stated in a press statement on the sidelines of his visit to the schools of intellectual education (boys and girls), where the tests of the Arabic language, Islamic education and the Holy Qur’an were conducted, that the Ministry devotes its efforts to conducting the written exams smoothly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He stated that the tests that are conducted annually within the schools of the Ministry of Education, under the supervision and follow-up of the private education sector, will last for three days, pointing to the keenness of all concerned departments and sectors to provide an appropriate, safe environment and an appropriate atmosphere for the performance of those tests.
He valued the great efforts made by all the committees, schools and competent departments in preparing the halls in accordance with health requirements and precautionary measures, out of concern for the future of male and female students in both public and private education.
