Kuwait’s Finance Minister receives ambassadors of Pakistan, Vietnam
KUWAIT CITY, June 17: Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Khalifa Hamada received in his office yesterday the ambassadors of Pakistan, Syed Sajjad Haider and Vietnam Ngo Tuan Thang.
During the meeting with the Ambassador of Pakistan, the two sides affirmed the strengthening of cooperation between both countries in economic and health relations; the importance of holding the KuwaitiPakistani Joint Higher Committee meetings and the vital role of Kuwait in international issues was also discussed.
In the meeting with the Ambassador
of Vietnam, ways to enhance joint cooperation in the economic, investment and tourism fields between the two sides were discussed and reviewed, and both sides stressed on the importance of the final signing of the minutes of the meeting of the second session of the KuwaitiVietnamese Joint Committee, which was held in July 2019.
The two meetings were attended by the Director of the Department of Arab and Gulf Economic Cooperation, the Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs, Talal Al-Namesh, and the Director of the Public Debt Department, Abdulaziz Al-Mulla.
