Existing legislation covers ‘delirium’ acts of some doctors, public: Attorney Al-Saif

-

KUWAIT CITY, July 8: Attorney Imad Al-Saif explained the State does not need new legal texts or legislation to deter those who doubt the safety and importance of the antiCovid-19 vaccine, saying “the legislation exists and covers the pursuit of all this ‘delirium’ from some doctors and public”, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Al-Saif said on “Twitter” account in a series of tweets that “what is written and said is a crime of incitement against the health system in the country, and it is a state security crime.”

He noted, “the false and ignorant talk that is not based on scientific evidence and sober studies about the vaccine is tantamount to rumors of false news, which disturbs the health security and can be called incitement against the existing systems in the country, the most important of which today is the health system.”

He noted the “state security and information technology laws cover all these criminal actions.”

Al-Saif added, “We must admit that the health authority has failed miserably in imposing the application of health and law enforcement measures on gatherings, bureaus and weddings that formed the ‘foci’ for spreading the epidemic, and to escape from confronting it, and blindly imposed the destructive curfews,” wishing this policy will change with the promoters of false rumors.

He went on to say, “The state’s continued silence regarding those who spread false rumors about the vaccine, are the cause of loss of more lives daily, as we see from the daily statistics regarding those who are not vaccinated, making them a moral and political partner in killing Kuwaitis and others.”
