Coastal rescue strategy launched
Chief of the Kuwaiti General Fire Brigade Lieutenant-General Khaled Al-Mekrad on Saturday launched coastal rescue mechanisms and advanced marine equipment for rapid intervention to be used in maritime search and rescue cases.
The force said in a press statement that the inauguration included mechanisms for coastal rescue operations equipped with all advanced devices and equipment and portable boats, in addition to the inauguration of jet skis for water and coastal accidents and depth scanning devices to be used in the search for missing persons under the surface of the water within the development and modernization plan that it operates.
