Spokesman for the Jaber Al-Ahmad
City People’s Gathering, the head of the city’s Voluntary Coordination Committee, Muhammad Al-Shimmari, said, “During the visit of Minister Al-Shaya, “We touched on many axes related to the city and its service and social needs, most notably the sites for public parks that have been neglected for more than 10 years, as well as the green areas in the service axis that were handed over by the PAHW to the PAAAFR, but since that time no green agricultural works, gardens and the like
have been built thus turning the site for a landfill of construction waste.”
Al-Shimmari added, “As we discussed the issue of public cleanliness and dilapidated roads in the area, in Block 2, the streets seemed completely dilapidated, as if they were paved for many years ago. Minister Al-Shaya promised to discuss the issue with the Minister of Public Works, Dr. Rana Al-Faris, with the possibility of repairing the damaged roads.”
