SMC of Pakistan Int’l School bids farewell to VC Dr Shafiq-ur-Rehman

KUWAIT CITY, July 15: School Management Council, Pakistan Internatio­nal School, Al- Khobar, and School’s Administra­tion held a joint session in the school to honor Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Member and Vice-Chairman of the SMC: School Management Council for his three years of service on the SMC and advocacy for the students of the school.

Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman decided to return to Pakistan after completing five years of ex-Pakistan leave and completing his three years of service with SMC: School Management Council, Pakistan Internatio­nal School, Al- Khobar. Sitting as a Guest of Honor in this meeting, Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman received thanks and praise from his colleagues on the SMC and the Administra­tion. The SMC: School Management Council and Administra­tion of Pakistan Internatio­nal School, Al- Khobar honored their colleague for his utmost devotion and commitment with which he had served the school and its students.

“Your dedication to the school and students is amazing. Because of your great contributi­on, the school and its schooling is much better now.” Rao Kamran Khan, Member and General Secretary, SMC: School Management Council said. “Our school would not have been what it is today without you,” Khawaja Salahuddin, a Member on the SMC: School Management Council stated. Muhammad Ajmal Jamil Mian, A/ Principal, thanked Dr. Shafiqur-Rehman for all he had done for the school and the students. He appreciate­d his warmth, guidance and the profession­al excellence he brought to things. Finance Controller Asif Iqbal Shaikh thanked Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman on behalf of his staff at the Accounts and Finance Department, and other teachers who had benefited from his efforts. “Every effort you made has been in the best interest of the school, and its students and staff,” Rao Umar Daraz, AVP said.

Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman said he was overwhelme­d by the honor and recognitio­n and was happy to have served. He said that’s the way he was raised and that he would continue serving the students the and the nation. He appreciate­d the Chairman, SMC: School Management Council, Abdul Rehman and other colleagues on the SMC and the school administra­tion for their cooperatio­n. He also appreciate­d the support that the SMC: School Management Council always receives from H.E. the Ambassador of Pakistan and the Link Officer of the School. “If there is ever anything, I can do for Pakistan Internatio­nal School, Al- Khobar, SMC and the school administra­tion can always call on me,” Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman added.

Chairman, SMC: School Management Council, Abdul Rehman, thanked Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman for his dedication to students and the school. He said that he personally benefited from Dr. Shafiq’s wisdom and profession­al competence with which he had assisted him in bringing academic and administra­tive excellence in the school. He praised his dedication to the SMC: School Management Council, noting how he participat­ed in the business of the SMC: School Management Council and attended all formal and informal meetings despite his busy work schedules. Chairman, SMC: School Management Council, Abdul Rehman presented Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman with a plaque recognizin­g his three years of service to the SMC: School Management Council as a Council Member, Vice-Chairman, and Chair Academics. The meeting was adjourned with a vote of thanks to all attendants and expression of best wishes to Dr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman for His future endeavors.
