KUWAIT CITY, Sept 4: The remains of two persons – a man and a Kuwaiti woman – found inside an apartment in Al Shaab Al Bahri area, have been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) the woman had bruises on her head. The daily did not give more details.

Meanwhile, the body of a citizen, which was found inside his car in the parking lot of a mosque in Salmiya, has been referred to Forensics, reports Al-Rai daily. After a worshipper informed the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior police and paramedics rushed to the spot and found the man dead.

Initial reports showed the man had died about two days ago.

4 held in drugs case: The Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry said four people suspected of trafficking in and consuming drugs have been arrested in two separate incidents, reports Al-Rai daily.

The daily added, one Kuwaiti was arrested by personnel from the Hawalli Security Directorate in Salmiya on suspicion and seized from him some substance what looked like drugs.

In the second incident, security patrols during routine inspection tour of Farwaniya took in custody three people – one Kuwaiti and two Arabs of unknown nationality.

The suspects and the drugs seized from them have been referred to the concerned authority.

Police threatened: The Sabah Al-Salem police have detained a Kuwaiti for interrogation after the latter entered the police station armed with a knife and attempted to attack the securitymen, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to a security source, the suspect’s female relative was earlier arrested by police and he went to the police station and tried in vain to free her.
