39 new diplomatic attachés take oath
The General Court of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs witnessed on Monday the swearing-in ceremony for 39 diplomatic attachés before the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, after they joined the group of diplomatic and consular posts in accordance with Law No. 21 for the year 1962 by the diplomatic and consular corps system and the laws amending it.
Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nasser congratulated his sons and daughters, male and female diplomats, for passing the training and academic program administered by the Sheikh Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, expressing great pride in their joining the diplomatic corps and his confidence that the diplomats who took the oath will honor it and will abide by it in spirit and letter with its contents and obligations, in devotion to the homeland and HH the Amir.
He directed the male and female diplomats to perform their duties professionally and proficiently, to work with a tireless effort, to employ the information and experience they received in their practical tasks, to take the initiative in self-development and to urge them to represent the State of Kuwait abroad with honor in order to raise its status in all international forums and preserve what the people of Kuwait had built upon.
He stressed the need for vigilance and caution in their work in light of the many challenges and difficulties they will face in the fields of work and what the political arena is witnessing regionally and internationally, wishing them more success in serving Kuwait and its people under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
