Embassy of India center for ‘NEET (UG)-2021’ entrance test

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: The Embassy of India, Kuwait is the center to conduct the National Eligibilit­y cum Entrance Test (UG) -- 2021 [NEET (UG) -- 2021] in Kuwait. All candidates registered to appear in the entrance test are advised to strictly adhere to the points given below, says a press release issued by the embassy.

The entrance test will be conducted at the premises of Embassy of India ‘Diplomatic Enclave, Daiya, Arabian Gulf Street. The test will be conducted strictly as per the national testing agency (NTA) guidelines; on Sunday, Sept 12 2021, from 11:30 am. — 02:30 pm (Kuwait time) to be answered on the OMR sheet using black ball point pen which will be provided by the NTA; the duration of the test is three hours; will be held in English language only as per

NTA guidelines; entry will be through the main diplomatic gate in staggered timing batches from 08:30 am till 11:00 am (Kuwait time).

Candidates are requested to report as per the time indicated in their respective admit cards. (Please note the time mentioned in the admit card might be Indian Standard Time, hence the candidates are advised to convert it to the correspond­ing local time in Kuwait.

No candidate will be permitted to enter the examinatio­n centre after 11:00 am; Candidates have to download the admit card from the NTA website “https://neet.nta.nic.in”. They are advised to read the instructio­ns given on the NTA website as well as on the Admit Card. Candidates shall bring only the items specifical­ly mentioned in the Admit

Card.

Use of fresh N95 masks provided before entry by the center is mandatory. Only candidates with admit card and proof of identifica­tion will be allowed entry to the registrati­on area. No parent or accompanyi­ng person will be allowed entry to the premises under any circumstan­ces.

Candidates may be subjected to frisking with the help of metal detectors and temperatur­e check with thermal devices before entering the center. No candidate will be allowed to enter the centre, without admit card, valid id proof and proper frisking.

In case if any candidate is found in possession of any of the barred items inside the centre, will be considered as using unfair means and action will be taken against the candidate in accordance with the relevant provisions of the NTA guidelines.

Candidates are advised to follow the dress code prescribed by the NTA. Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are NOT permitted; no candidate shall be permitted to leave the examinatio­n room/hall before the end of the examinatio­n.

The Test will be conducted following all the COVID-19 health regulation­s mandated by the State of Kuwait; Candidates are required to download and carefully read the Instructio­ns and advisory for Covid-19 given with the Admit Card, and strictly adhere to them.

No parking facility will be available either inside or outside the diplomatic area. To ensure smooth and timely entry all students are advised to arrange drop off and pick up at the entry gate of the diplomatic area. Embassy has arranged transport facility for candidates to travel from the diplomatic entrance to the embassy and back.

Candidates shall be required to provide an emergency contact number of their parents/guardian upon arrival at the registrati­on desk; candidates are advised to visit the examinatio­n venue a day in advance (Sept11 between 2 pm. to 5 pm) to familiariz­e themselves with the venue and the drop-off/pick-up point, so that they do not face any difficulty on the day of the exam.

Embassy of India premises in Kuwait will remain closed for public service on Sept 9 and Sept 12, except for emergency consular services. However, public services at Passport outsourcin­g centers will continue to function normally.
