Military man helps 7 exit Kuwait illegally
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: The Ministry of Interior has detained a military man working at the Salmi port for interrogation for allegedly helping seven people to leave Kuwait illegally, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily added, this was discovered when the men were arrested by the Saudi authorities at the Al-Reqqaie port. At the time of arrest the men had no passports with them.
The source added that “the seven men were referred to the authorities in the Emirate of Al Sharqiya and detained and the Kuwaiti authorities were informed.
The Kuwaiti authorities are investigating to what extent the military man was involved in the incident. In the meantime the suspects are expected to be handed over to the Kuwaiti authorities to complete legal procedures.

Hunt for missing man: Personnel from the Directorate-General of Fire Department continues to search for the missing man who allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the Jaber Bridge, reports Al-Rai daily.
However, investigation have revealed that a video clip has gone viral of a Kuwaiti jumping from the Jaber Bridge to play a joke on his friends, and after inquiries the authorities discovered the clip is a fabrication.
The clip shows a man jumping from the Jaber Bridge, which led some to believe that it belongs to the missing person, and as the firemen continue their search of the man, the person was found alive and has been arrested.
A security source told Al-Rai the person has admitted that he did not jump, but staged the act as a joke and sent it to his close friends only.
In the context, the source explained the person was arrested yesterday. The security services are still following up the case and investigating the missing person while firefighters are continuing to search for the missing man.
