Banks recently decided to temporarily suspend their policy on granting free loans and to exit from the open competition in attracting customers through this type of financing, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources explained that the number of banks granting free loans has declined, indicating the competition is now limited to two major banks with strong market power and high liquidity.
