MoE expected to deposit salary on monthly basis

KUWAIT CITY, April 24: According to informed sources, the Ministry of Education is working on the possibility of depositing summer salaries of school employees, including teachers and administrators, on a monthly basis, similar to the last academic year 2020/2021, reports Al-Qabas daily.

They revealed that coordination is underway between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance regarding the monthly salaries of teachers this year and in the coming years, and to avoid returning to the old system of depositing the salaries of four months (May, June, July and August) in a single batch.

In another context, the sources indicated that the study plan has finally been approved by the Ministry of Education to remain as it is, without any changes in the revised calendar.

They explained that the summer vacation for kindergarten workers will begin at the end of the working hours on Thursday, June 9.
