KUWAIT CITY, April 26, (KUNA): Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) inked Tuesday a deal with Federal Republic of Somalia relating to debt-burdened countries.

In a statement, KFAED added that the deal came after Somalia’s right of withdrawal was discontinued in 1989 due to local events. The fund worked with the federal government to coordinate scheduling all debts.

Signing the deal on behalf of the fund was General Director Marwan AlGhanim and on behalf of the republic of Somalia was Ambassador Dr. Abdullah Oduwa.
