Ahmadi, Jahra to get hospitals by year end

KUWAIT CITY, April 28: The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Insurance Hospitals Company ‘Daman’ Mutlaq Al-Sanea disclosed the rate of completion of the Ahmadi and the Jahra governorat­es hospital has reached 70 percent, and expected to be handed over by the end of this year, reports Al-Jarida daily.

Al-Sanea, addressing the company’s ordinary general assembly recently said that the repercussi­ons of the “Covid-19” pandemic continued to affect many aspects of life, including the economic and the business sector in Kuwait and the world as a whole.

He explained the company faced and dealt with the challenges of this global crisis by determinat­ion to complete its plans and strategy, which includes five primary health care centers distribute­d over the various regions of Kuwait, in addition to two hospitals in the Ahmadi and Jahra governorat­es.

He indicated that the company’s third primary health care center was inaugurate­d in the Dajeej in 2020 and began operations in the beginning of 2021, pointing out that work has begun to prepare and equip two other centers in Jahra and Fahaheel to complete the requiremen­ts of the first phase for primary health care centers during the current year.

He pointed the company coordinate­s its efforts with the Ministry of Health to start transferri­ng expatriate­s working in the private sector to the Daman company system after its operation.
