MoE keen to obtain MoF nod to transfer KD 80m to PIFSS

KUWAIT CITY, April 28: The competent authorities at the Ministry of Education are keen on obtaining approval from the Ministry of Finance to transfer KD80 million to the account of the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS), reports Al-Jarida daily quoting a reliable source.

According to the source, the abovementioned amount is included in the Education Ministry’s budget; but it is not available as cash in its account.

The source said the Ministry of Education has asked its finance counterpart to speed up the provision of the needed cash to transfer the contributions of employees from December 2021 to April 2022.
