Incentives for frontliners:

The incentive for College of Nursing students, who were on the frontline in dealing with the Corona pandemic, will be disbursed soon; as the Ministry of Health has approved the attendance sheet of 500 students, including 60 students who took part in the vaccination campaign in different clinics, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources.

Sources told the daily that the

Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) asked the Ministry of Finance to pay the incentive of students who supported the medical bodies, stressing that these students deserve appreciation.

As per the approval of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance asked its health counterpart to designate College of Nursing students to assist the medical staff during the pandemic; indicating KD100 monthly stipend was allotted for each of these students. The students worked for six months in several locations, including the vaccination centers in the exhibition grounds in Mishref and Jaber Causeway, sources added.
