Amir exchanges greetings on occasion of Eid

KUWAIT CITY, May 7, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday contacted by telephone Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud expressing sincere congratula­tions on Eid Al-Fitr, wishing the happy occasion may recur for the Saudi and Kuwaiti peoples and the Muslim nation.

His Highness the Amir expressed good wishes to the monarch and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Reciprocat­ing, King Salman voiced gratitude for the gracious gesture that depicted depth of the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, wishing that such contacts may regularly persist.

King Salman wished lasting good health for His Highness the Amir and hoped Kuwait will witness further promotion and prosperity under his sagacious leadership.

His Highness the Amir also on Monday received a phone call from Egyptian President Abdelfatta­h Al-Sisi, expressing congratula­tions on Eid AlFitr.

Recurrence

President Al-Sisi prayed to Allah for the recurrence of the happy occasion for the two friendly countries, peoples, the Arab and Muslim nations. He also expressed good wishes for His Highness the Amir.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf thanked the Egyptian president for the gracious overture, reciprocat­ing with identical sentiments and wishes.

His Highness Sheikh Nawaf also on Tuesday received a call from Iranian President Sayed Ebrahim Raisi, congratula­ting him on Eid Al-Fitr.

In the phone conversati­on, the Iranian president wished many happy returns of the occasion for both friendly countries and their people, along with both Arab and Muslim worlds, and wished His Highness the Amir good health and wellness.

In reply, His Highness the Amir thanked the Iranian president for this good gesture that reflects deep relations between both countries and their friendly people, wishing him well and further progress and prosperity for Iran and its people under his wise leadership.

His Highness the Amir, meanwhile, received a telephone call from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan who congratula­ted His Highness on Eid Al-Fitr.

President Erdogan prayed to Allah so the happy occasion may recur for the two friendly countries, peoples, the Arab and Muslim nations. He also expressed good wishes for His Highness the Amir.

Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad also received a telephone call from Qatar’s Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa AlThani who expressed congratula­tions on Eid Al-Fitr.

The Qatari Father Amir beseeched His Almighty so the happy occasion may recur for the two brotherly countries, peoples, the Arab and Muslim nations. He also expressed good wishes for His Highness the Amir.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf thanked Sheikh Hamad for the gracious overture, reciprocat­ing with identical sentiments and wishes.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf later received a call from Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk Governor Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, congratula­ting him on Eid Al-Fitr.
