Fees on internet, mobile transfers set
KD 1 for local, KD 6 for international from June 1
KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Some local banks will charge fees for local and international money transfers through internet and mobile phone starting from June 1, reports Al-Anba quoting sources.
Sources said these banks have already informed their customers about the KD 1 charge for local transfer and KD 6 for international transfer, which will take effect on the first day of next month.

KUWAIT CITY: Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced on Monday allocating bonds and “tawarruq” at the value of KD 160 million (around USD 528 million).
The CBK issued a statement saying that the maturity period is six months, with a yield rate of 2 percent.
The central bank issued bonds and “tawarruq,” on April 25, at the value of 200 KD million (around USD 660 million) with a threemonth maturity and a yield of 1.375 percent.
