219 ‘misdemeanor’ and traffic cases registered
KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The General Department of Investigations affiliated to the Ministry of Interior announced the registration of 219 different misdemeanor and traffic cases in all six governorates during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
According to statistics issued recently by the department, Hawally Governorate recorded the highest number of cases with a total of 70 cases, including 51 misdemeanor cases and 19 traffic cases, followed by Ahmadi Governorate with 55 cases, including 47 misdemeanor cases and eight traffic cases, and then Jahra Governorate with 32 cases, of which 23 are misdemeanor cases and nine are traffic cases.
About 25 misdemeanor cases and three traffic cases were registered in Farwaniya Governorate, 12 misdemeanor and nine traffic cases in Capital Governorate, and then 12 cases, including 10 misdemeanor cases and two traffic cases in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governoratem which registered the least number of cases. Also, one case was registered in the Juvenile Court.
