Govt aims to qualify new Kuwaiti graduates in projects dev’t
KUWAIT CITY, May 16, (KUNA): The Public Authority for Youth has launched the third season program ‘Facilities, Security, Safety and Environment Management’ within the development project ‘Work Makers’ included in the government work program in the human capital development axis, with the aim of qualifying newly graduated Kuwaiti youth in projects development and providing them with job opportunities after training and refining their capabilities.
Director General of the Authority, Dr. Mishal Al-Rubaie, said in a speech he delivered, Monday, before the start of the third season, that the program is a training project that includes specialized theoretical and field courses according to a threemonth timetable and includes 50 male and female trainees.
Al-Rubaie added that the ‘Facilities,
Security, Safety and Environment Management’ program aims to qualify newly graduated Kuwaiti youth in engineering disciplines and employ them in companies that are interested in the field of facilities management after acquiring the skills and capabilities qualified for the labor market by implementing a number of specialized programs and holding training courses in the said field.
He referred to qualifying the trainees by using modern scientific methods for facilities management and supervising training by specialists whose mission is to certify trainees’ certificates in the Middle East.
He stated that the Facilities Management project is one of the subprojects within the Work Makers project included in the state’s development plan 2021-2025, as it works on preparing integrated projects for youth within the areas of the national youth policy, which was approved by the Council of Ministers and mandated to implement by the Public Authority for Youth.
