MoH, PAAET ink MoU on joint research
KUWAIT CITY, Aug 8, (KUNA): The Ministry of Health and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at supporting joint research between the two sides and providing field training for students of the College of Nursing in hospitals.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mustafa Reda, said in a press statement on the sidelines of the signing of the memorandum that the ministry is working to strengthen cooperation and work with educational institutions specialized in the field of health and nursing, and what the authority, represented by the College of Nursing, is doing in terms of cooperation and filling the ministry’s needs of the national nursing staff.

Reda stressed that the memorandum contributes to the development of health work in Kuwait, expressing his wishes that this agreement will be an actual start for cooperation.
For his part, the Acting DirectorGeneral of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Dr. Jassim Al-Ansari, said that the authority is working to achieve everything that serves the country by providing qualified national cadres for nursing health work, stressing that the agreement will be an actual product to achieve this.
Al-Ansari added that the agreement aims to achieve fruitful cooperation between the two parties through several axes, including providing field training for students of the College of Nursing in hospitals, evaluating applicants to work within the nursing staff in the ministry, in addition to technical and supervisory training for the nursing staff working in the ministry.
