Tamil Nadu Muslim Association holds Seerah program
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: Tamil Nadu Muslim Association (TMA), a subsidiary of Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait has conducted a special Seerah program on Oct 7, as a part of an ongoing Seerah campaign by IMA (from 6th Oct to 4th Nov, 2022) in Kuwait under the theme of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) - Mercy to the worlds.
The program started with a soothing recitation of the Holy Quranic verses by Br.Mohammed Azar. The chief guest and the audiences have been welcomed by Br. Mohamed Faiyaz, Vice president of TMA, addressed on the importance of the campaign and the various activities conducted in this month of Seerah campaign
The chief guest Sharfudeensoofi, Vice president of IMA in his speech has highlighted the qualities of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a kind and merciful leader and the way he has trained his companions which makes him special by citing out the Qur’anic verses and the incidents occurred in the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
After the night prayer(Esha) break, Quiz competition has been conducted by Br. Mohammed Javed, Br. Azar, Br. Suhail collectively on the life and events of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the audiences in general and kids. It earned much interest and enthusiasm among the participants. Prizes has been distributed instantly upon answering the questions correctly.
During the mid-session of the program, an award under the special category of Social and Community Service
has been given to Dr. Muneer Ahmed MA., Ph.D congratulating him for his outstanding contribution in the awarded category.
Program’s main thought-provoking speech on the topic ”Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), A People’s Leader” delivered by Br. Abdul Wahab, President of TMA, In his speech he has highlighted that
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), not only a spiritual leader but a Good Role model to be followed in all walks of life such as individual, family, society, economy, people governance etc. Prophet’s life itself a testimony that he has excelled in all the walks of life and has shown mercy, love towards all the human beings and other living beings. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) led his life by what he preach(speech) and actions, has abolished all social evils like slavery, untouchability, social disorder and has established a social justice in the society as a social reformer with the example from his life (Seerah) and events related to it has been pointed out nicely by Br. Abdul Wahab.
Finally the program ended with vote of thanks note by Br. Mydeen and the program has been much welcomed by more than 200 peoples including kids.
