FOKE celebrates 17th anniversary with ‘Kannur Maholsavam - 2022’
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: Friends of Kannur Kuwait Expats’ Association (FOKE), an association of residents of Kannur district in Kuwait, organized its 17th anniversary celebration “Kannur Maholsavam 2022” in the presence of a large audience at Innova International English School Auditorium Mahboula.
On 7th October, the forenoon session started at 10.00 am with the third phase of the Arts Fest competitions of the FOKE members followed by the prize distribution ceremony.
The Arts Fest competitions were held in three phases which comprised of different competitions for different categories and each competition was judged by eminent personalities in Kuwait. The official cultural meet started at 4.00 pm which was presided over by FOKE President Xaviour Antony and inaugurated by Kamal Singh Rathod, First Secretary, Indian Embassy. Musthafa Hamza, Chairman Metro Medical Group, Philip Koshy, General Manager Al Mulla Exchange, Ms. Mona Al Mutairi, Product Manager Friendi Mobile, Musthtaq Ali, Sales manager Go First Airline, Nitesh Patel, Manager City Link Shuttle on Demand, G.V. Mohanan, Managing Director Aradhana Gulf Jewellery Center felicitated the function. FOKE general secretary Lijeesh P welcomed the gathering and Kannur Maholsavam 2022 General convener Mahesh Kumar delivered the vote of thanks.
The power packed performance led by famous playback singers Vidhu Pratap, Ranjini Jose, Shihab Shan and Shabana and the enthralling mentalism show by leading mentalist Nipin Niravath were the highlight of the celebration.
