‘Kuwait, Oman ties an example to follow’
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23, (KUNA): Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs Mazen AlNahedh praised Monday the “Kuwaiti-Omani relations, which are an example to follow at all levels.”
Al-Nahedh said in a press statement on the sidelines of a reception held by the Omani embassy in the country on the occasion of the National Day of the Sultanate of Oman that the longstanding bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries over the years and the great horizon that it entails made it an example to follow at all levels, especially between the two peoples and the wise leadership in both brotherly countries.
He expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings to the brotherly Sultanate of Oman, its leadership, government and people on its National Day, and best wishes for further prosperity .and progress under its wise leadership.
For his part, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the country, Saleh Al-Kharousi, said in a similar statement that the bilateral relations between the two countries are a model in the approach of peace, steadfastness in principles, and contribution to solving regional and international problems.
Al-Kharousi added that what we celebrate today of the meanings of brotherhood between the two brotherly countries is “a natural result of the historical relations and ties of brotherhood from centuries ago,” noting the links between the two countries in terms of history, culture, lifestyles, trade and others on the shores of the Arabian Gulf.
He pointed to the interest of the leaderships of the two countries in strengthening relations in various fields and sectors through various executive programs, especially diplomatic, economic, cultural, artistic, scientific and sports.
