Scientific events enhance bonds of co-op between researchers: KFAS
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 23, (KUNA): Director General of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel confirmed today, (Wednesday), that the establishment of scientific events strengthens the bonds of cooperation between researchers and the exchange of scientific expertise among them, in addition to building a network of knowledge communication that deepens their local and international experiences.
This came in a speech by Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel, conveyed by a statement issued by the Foundation on the occasion of organizing the ‘Electronic scientific poster day for researchers’ event, with the aim of reviewing the results of research projects implemented by Kuwaiti researchers and funded by the Foundation.
Al-Fadhel said that the event aims to highlight high-level research, especially those dealing with topics that fall within the Foundation’s strategy and are related to national priorities such as energy, health, the environment, food security, science, engineering, and research on dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
For her part, Deputy Director General of Strategic Programs at the Foundation, Dr. Khawla AlShayji, said in a similar speech that this scientific event seeks to focus on research related to capacity development and science dissemination.
