TGS presents Dana Winner

This Thursday, The Guest Show (TGS) presents, Dana Winner, a Cybersecurity Policy Consultant with a very impressive track record. We will speak to her about cyber threats, ways to understand vulnerabilities and about protecting ourselves from digital crime.

A few days back, Women in Cybersecurity Middle East, or WICSME, had their annual conference where they celebrated the resilience and empowerment of women in this field. Dana is a founding member of WICSME.

Digital security is very important. In recent years, there has been a rapid escalation and intensification of cybercrime activities, which has targeted the MENA region.

These activities are economically and financially, as well as politically and ideologically motivated. Internet users don’t know how to protect themselves, and the security risks involves. So we’re going to talk about all of this and we’re going to talk about how women have contributed to this whole conversation of cybersecurity, and how women have been an important part of the development and evolution of the information system.
