- MP Marzouq Faleh Al-Habini Al-Azmi Sunni/Tribal/Popular Action Bloc Fifth Constituen­cy

MP Marzouq Faleh Al-Habini AlAzmi, who was born in 1952, holds Bachelor of Business Administra­tion degree.

Al-Habini started his parliament­ary election bid in 1985, but he lost as he ranked third in the 22nd Constituen­cy with 559 votes. He also lost in the 1992 election when he ranked third in the same constituen­cy with 1,035 votes. He emerged victorious in 1996 and 1999 when he took the second spot in the 25th Constituen­cy with 553 and 467 votes respective­ly. His winning streak continued in 2003 and 2006 when he ranked first in the same constituen­cy with 1,972 and 4,381 votes respective­ly. In 2008, he landed in second place with 14,864 votes. He also won in 2022, ranking ninth in the Fifth Constituen­cy with 4,830 votes.

Al-Habini supported the MPs’ sit in at the National Assembly building in 2022, stressing this happened due to the bad administra­tion of successive government­s. He said the citizens and MPs should not be blamed for expressing concern about the future of the nation upon hearing the statement of the government on its inability to pay salaries in the coming years. He wondered where the money of Kuwait has gone, considerin­g it has been producing oil for almost 70 years.
