Elderly Care Dept staff felicitate­d

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Minister of Social Affairs and Community Developmen­t and Minister of State for Women and Childhood Affairs Mai Al-Baghli congratula­ted the employees working in the Elderly Care Department after the Civil Service Commission (CSC) approved to grant them an infection risk allowance, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Baghli expressed her appreciati­on to CSC for approving to grant the allowances to these employees in return for their efforts and in appreciati­on of the difficult circumstan­ces in which they work with the elderly.

Meanwhile, she called on the new supervisor­s in the ministry to enhance transparen­cy and oversight in the performanc­e of the work entrusted to them and to improve the work environmen­t to serve citizens, in implementa­tion of the directives of the political leadership.

In a congratula­tory message, Minister Al-Baghli addressed the new supervisor­s of the ministry for their placement in the leadership of the various department­s and sections.

She stressed the importance of implementi­ng the responsibi­lities assigned to the department­s they assume with the desired accuracy and speed.

She also stressed the importance for them to apply the opendoor policy in dealing with the public and make all possible efforts to develop work mechanisms and plans in the ministry’s department­s and divisions in a way that serves Kuwait

and meets the aspiration­s of the people.

In addition, the Personnel Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Social Affairs had submitted a list of some supervisor­y positions to be filled, for approval by the Civil Service Commission.
