Elderly Care Dept staff felicitated
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Minister of Social Affairs and Community Development and Minister of State for Women and Childhood Affairs Mai Al-Baghli congratulated the employees working in the Elderly Care Department after the Civil Service Commission (CSC) approved to grant them an infection risk allowance, reports Al-Anba daily.
Al-Baghli expressed her appreciation to CSC for approving to grant the allowances to these employees in return for their efforts and in appreciation of the difficult circumstances in which they work with the elderly.
Meanwhile, she called on the new supervisors in the ministry to enhance transparency and oversight in the performance of the work entrusted to them and to improve the work environment to serve citizens, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership.
In a congratulatory message, Minister Al-Baghli addressed the new supervisors of the ministry for their placement in the leadership of the various departments and sections.
She stressed the importance of implementing the responsibilities assigned to the departments they assume with the desired accuracy and speed.
She also stressed the importance for them to apply the opendoor policy in dealing with the public and make all possible efforts to develop work mechanisms and plans in the ministry’s departments and divisions in a way that serves Kuwait
and meets the aspirations of the people.
In addition, the Personnel Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Social Affairs had submitted a list of some supervisory positions to be filled, for approval by the Civil Service Commission.
