Talabat introduces AdTech solutions for quick-commerce partners

- Wassim Makarem, Senior VP of Quick Commerce at talabat

Talabat, the region’s leading tech platform, introduces a self-service quick commerce advertising solution for the first time. As consumers’ grocery shopping habits moved towards e-commerce and quick-commerce, an increasing number of fast-moving consumer goods (‘FMCG’) and agencies have turned to platforms like talabat to provide cutting-edge advertising solutions.

In partnership with CitrusAD, a global advertising technology (‘AdTech’) platform, talabat is launching an AdTech solution allowing partners to have full control and visibility on their own campaigns, as well as the opportunity to promote their products in real time on the app. Partners can have their products advertised on a majority of non-food verticals of talabat, including talabat Mart, local shops and pharmacies.

These new features are a testament to talabat’s ambition to provide the best-in-class AdTech solution in the tech and quick-commerce industry. With this launch, the platform intends to become the advertising partner of choice for FMCGs and agencies looking to enter the quick commerce space and to have a tailored and transparent experience with talabat, allowing them to have a better understanding of their performance on the app.

Wassim Makarem, Senior VP of Quick Commerce at talabat said: “We are thrilled to launch this new AdTech solution and to observe the positive impact it will have on the industry. Our goal is to continuously advance our tech solutions in the quick-commerce sector to provide customers with a more relevant experience on our platform, and to always provide opportunities for our partners to grow. This tech solution will give brands the space to develop a loyal customer base on the platform, beginning with brand awareness efforts and gradually building all the way up to the final sale.”
