Talabat signs deal with ‘GIVE’ platform

KUWAIT CITY, March 14: Talabat, the leading e-commerce platform in Kuwait and the region, announced the signing of an agreement with Give, a non-profit company that aims to improve the process of electronic donation to charities in Kuwait, for its social responsibility campaign during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr in cooperation with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, to support and help families in need within the Kuwaiti community.

In a signing ceremony held at talabat main office, Bader Al-Ghanim Managing Director - Kuwait, signed the agreement in the presence of the Founder of “Give” a non profit companySheikha Shayma Al-Sabah. The agreement supports three main initiatives: Ramthan Food Basket, Iftar meal and Eid Vesture. The campaign will run from March 14 until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramthan Food Basket Talabat and Give will start by launching the “Ramadan Basket” campaign, which will allow users of the talabat platform to contribute to the campaign and donate to families in need inside Kuwait, in cooperation with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society. The campaign will start on the 14th of March and end on the 20th of March.

Iftar Meals

Starting from the first day of Ramadan until Ramadan the 20th, users of the talabat platform can donate to a group of campaigns dedicated to the iftar meals campaign inside Kuwait on the Give platform.

Eid Vesture Talabat users in Kuwait will be able to donate to families in need inside Kuwait, in cooperation with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, on the beginning of the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan.
