46th session of Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports kicks off
RIYADH, March 20, (KUNA): The 46th session of the Council of Arab Youth and Sports Ministers kicked off on Sunday, in Jeddah, headed by the Saudi Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki.
The delegation of the State of Kuwait in this session is headed by the representative of the Minister of Information and Culture and the Minister of State for Kuwaiti Youth Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, the Director General of the Youth Authority Mishaal Al-Subaie.
Effective leaders
In his opening speech, Prince Abdulaziz said, “The Arab world has effective leaders that lead us towards further development, renaissance and development, and this motivates us to work more diligently and striving to achieve common interests and support young talents.”
He explained that this matter serves our countries towards more success and excellence, with the necessity of hard and continuous work to empower and motivate young people and give them all the reasons for success and excellence at various levels, and at the sports level in particular.
For his part, Al-Subaie stressed in his speech the State of Kuwait’s constant keenness to enhance Arab cooperation and improve joint programs for youth and work to encourage them to participate in society. In addition to exchanging ideas and experiences and deepening cooperation between them.
The Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports discussed many issues on the agenda, and then issued a number of decisions, including approving the holding of the Arab Games 2023 in Algeria and the establishment of many programs and youth activities in a number of Arab countries, and the financial and administrative reports, as well as reports of activities and youth programs that were established, were approved.
