Bayan Shooting Club organized, for the first time, the bow and arrow tournament for men and women under the auspices of the Public Authority for Sports, at the Sulaibikhat Club. The first edition of the tournament witnessed strong competitions until the last rounds.
After the last round, the secretary of Bayan Shooting Club, Fahd Al-Suhaibi, crowned the first six winners in each category. Zainab AlAnzi
won the first place in the women’s category, Aisha Al-Kandari finished second, the third spot went to Mona Al-Hajri, Anwar AlHarshani, Amna Al-Harshani and Kairouan Al-Azmi finished 4th,5th and 6th respectively.
In the men’s category, Abdul Amir Youssef won the title Muhammad Al Balushi settled for 1st runners up spot with Muhammad Al Hammadi completing the podium. Suleiman Al Mulla came fourth, fifth position going to
Muath Al Hammadi and sixth spot to Abdul Latif Mulla Youssef.
For his part, Secretary of the Bayan Shooting Club, Fahd Al-Suhaibi, said that the first edition of the bow and arrow tournament, which was organized by the club, witnessed strong competitions from the participants, of whom a large number emerged, with the presence of an audience of bow and arrow lovers.
Al-Suhaibi thanked the board of directors of the Sulaibikhat Club for hosting the tournament and providing the necessary facilities that contributed to the success of the first tournament. He also thanked the Public Authority for Sports, which sponsored the tournament, which supports the club and Kuwaiti sports in general, which creates a suitable ground for sports organizations to organize their tournaments in a good way.
