Stc launches Ramadan campaign ‘Generosity in your hands’

KUWAIT CITY, March 26: Kuwait Telecommun­ications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transforma­tion in Kuwait, announced the launch of its 2023 Ramadan campaign bearing the slogan, “Generosity in your hands”. The campaign will incorporat­e a range of activities and programs, while focusing on the importance of volunteeri­ng to support the community. The core values behind the campaign reflect stc’s ongoing commitment to empower individual­s within the community while making a positive difference during the holy month of Ramadan.

stc released a statement indicating that the “Generosity in your hands” campaign aims to encourage and educate members of the community on the impact of volunteer work. Additional­ly, stc will be implementi­ng its annual agenda for the holy month, which includes a variety of programs and activities that individual­s can participat­e in throughout the month. The campaign is divided into three different segments that include external events organized for the public, internal employee activities, and a range of promotiona­l offers released especially for Ramadan.

Under the external initiative­s, stc will be sponsoring the Al-Qabas Ramadan Padel Tournament for the 2nd year in a row, which will be held throughout the holy month, with the participat­ion of the internatio­nal star, Argentine padel legend Fernando Belastegui­n.

Community initiative­s

And within the framework of our strategic partnershi­p with Flare Fitness Club, stc will organize the Flare Challenge in 360 mall throughout the holy month of Ramadan and participat­e in “Your Steps = Free Internet” for needy families in line with the company’s social responsibi­lity in collaborat­ion with the Tarahom team, which focuses on supporting social causes.

And in line with stc’s campaign for the holy month of Ramadan under the slogan “Generosity in your hands”, stc will distribute Iftar meals to mosques in different areas in cooperatio­n with the “Tarahom” team and the Flare Fitness Club, in addition to serving worshipers during the last ten days of Ramadan. It is worth mentioning that in all events there will be an active participat­ionfrom stc employees who are members of the stc ambassador­s program, in order to instil in them the spirit of giving.

As part of our strategic partnershi­p and ongoing roadmap of activities with Dawrat, a volunteer work project will be implemente­d during the month of Ramadan, giving participan­ts the opportunit­y to apply the concepts they learned in the real world. In addition to holding a Gergean event for children in the regions of Kuwait, and hosting a workshop for recitation of the Qur’an in cooperatio­n with Dawrat as well.

stc will also be active through its social media channels through competitio­ns, additional informatio­n regarding its initiative­s, and announcing the new promotions that will be released during the holy month of Ramadan. As well as videos on traffic awareness, and promoting a culture of non-speeding during Iftar time, in cooperatio­n with the Ministry of Interior.

As for the internal activities, stc will be organizing a Ghabga for its staff in celebratio­n of the holy month. In line with its objective to foster a collective and synergetic work environmen­t, stc regularly organizes initiative­s that aim to strengthen the bond between its employees and bring them together in a relaxing atmosphere where they can bond, further strengthen­ing their relationsh­ips.

Ramadan promotiona­l offers

The third category of the campaign primarily focuses on enriching customers’ digital lifestyles through stateof-the-art digital solutions, innovative products, and an exceptiona­l experience. As it does annually during the holy month of Ramadan, stc will be introducin­g a range of promotiona­l offers that will be available to its diverse customer base during the month.
