Ambassador of India to Kuwait hosts ‘Ramadan Ghabqa’
KUWAIT CITY, March 28: The Ambassador of India to Kuwait, HE Dr. Adarsh Swaika, hosted a ‘Ramadan Ghabqa’ at India House on March 27, (Wednesday) to celebrate the festive spirit of the holy month of Ramadan with friends of India in Kuwait, including members of the diplomatic corps and the Indian community. During the event, the ambassador conveyed heartfelt Ramadan Mubarak greetings to all attendees and well-wishers in Kuwait.
The gathering featured an exquisite blend of Indian culture, music, and cuisine. Indian classical music on sitar, table, and flute filled the air, creating a special atmosphere. The culinary experience was enhanced by an eclectic menu of Indian dishes popular during the Ramadan month in India.
Ramadan holds a significant place in India, a country known for its rich tapestry of diverse religions and cultures, and home to the world’s second-largest Muslim population. Throughout India, Ramadan is celebrated with streets adorned with lights, delicious delicacies sold in markets, and people of all faiths exchanging greetings with each other.
