Meanwhile, Faisal Al-Atel praised the cooperation between Kuwait Society of Engineers and Jordanian Engineers Association in providing aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
He highlighted the depth of KuwaitiJordanian relations, and expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Jordanian Engineers Association for its cooperation as well as for inviting him to attend the Ghabga.
In addition, Ahmed Al-Zoubi highlighted the efforts of the Jordanian Engineers Association in the Gaza Strip.
He explained that seven water desalination plants were built in the Gaza Strip through cooperation among Jordanian Engineers Association, Kuwaiti Society of Engineers, the Federation of Arab Engineers, and the International Federation of Engineers. Al-Najat Hospital in the Gaza Strip has been provided with solar energy, which led to the continuation of its work. A total of 17,000 meals were provided to the Palestinians in Gaza.
Al-Zoubi affirmed cooperation of the association with the unions of Arab and international engineers to rebuild the infrastructure in the sector that was destroyed by the occupation forces, with the aim of returning Palestinians to their homes and preventing the displacement process.
He praised the relationship between the two countries both officially and popularly, as well as the level of fruitful cooperation between the society and the association.
Furthermore, Head of the Jordanian Engineers Liaison Committee in Kuwait Omar Al-Hamoud said that the committee carried out its duties to the fullest extent, and in accordance with the directives of the association, represented by the president and the union council.
He said, “The Engineers Committee in Kuwait has taken a pledge upon itself to be the jewel of external liaison committees in terms of working to serve engineers, providing correct information, and holding all scientific, practical, sporting and social activities, and to be a link between colleagues in Kuwait and their mother association in Jordan, as well as between fellow engineers and the Kuwaiti Society of Engineers.
The committee seeks to move forward by achieving a qualitative leap through its interaction and communication with fellow engineers. This is what we noticed from the first moment, as about 400 male and female engineers were added to the committee this year through various applications. The Jordanian Women Engineers Committee was also established.”
Al-Hamoud highlighted the close relationship with the Jordanian House and the Jordanian Embassy, which is an umbrella and a roof for all Jordanians.
He said, “We aim to connect all Jordanian engineers in Kuwait, create an employment platform, and count the number of unemployed people, irrespective of whether they are new graduates or experienced ones. We also seek to create a platform for those with experience and competence, so that engineers looking for work or employers looking for competence can access this platform and easily search for what they want.
Al-Hamoud affirmed that the committee seeks permanent communication with its colleagues in the Kuwait Society of Engineers.
He expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the head of the society and its board of directors for granting a headquarters to the association within the society’s campus, which “will fulfill hopes of being a nucleus for joint Arab engineering work.”
Al-Hamoud said, “From the first moment, we sensed the warmth of the relationship, sincere love, and generous hospitality, which are the origins of the brotherly Kuwaiti people, the first to defend the issues of their nation, and the custodian of all their Arab brothers.”
