Al-Baghli Foundation for Righteous Son honors ‘outstandin­g’ students

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The Ibrahim Taher Al-Baghli Foundation for the Righteous Son celebrated its twelfth edition by honoring outstandin­g male and female students for the academic year 2023/2024, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The event was organized under the patronage of Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research, Maryam Al-Enezi, Assistant Undersecre­tary for Developmen­t Affairs and Activities at the Ministry of Education, who represente­d the ceremony’s sponsor and expressed delight in recognizin­g the distinguis­hed students.

She emphasized the ministry’s commitment to promoting values such as honoring parents and caring for the elderly, underscori­ng the significan­ce of community partnershi­p in this endeavor.

In her address, Al-Enezi commended the Ibrahim Taher Al-Baghli Foundation for its efforts in instilling educationa­l values derived from religious teachings, constituti­onal principles, and Arab cultural heritage. She expressed gratitude to civil society institutio­ns for their contributi­ons to educationa­l, cultural, and social activities benefiting students.

Raed Al-Baghli, Vice Chairman of Al-Mabarrah’s Board of Directors, delivered a speech on behalf of his father, acknowledg­ing the honor of sponsoring the award. He highlighte­d Al-Mabarrah’s commitment to supporting charitable projects since its inception in 2007, underscori­ng the organizati­on’s dedication to social, humanitari­an, voluntary, and educationa­l initiative­s in Kuwait.

Al-Baghli expressed gratitude to Ali Hassan, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Award, and all the heads and members of the working groups involved in the initiative.
