Al-Baghli Foundation for Righteous Son honors ‘outstanding’ students
KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The Ibrahim Taher Al-Baghli Foundation for the Righteous Son celebrated its twelfth edition by honoring outstanding male and female students for the academic year 2023/2024, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The event was organized under the patronage of Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research, Maryam Al-Enezi, Assistant Undersecretary for Development Affairs and Activities at the Ministry of Education, who represented the ceremony’s sponsor and expressed delight in recognizing the distinguished students.
She emphasized the ministry’s commitment to promoting values such as honoring parents and caring for the elderly, underscoring the significance of community partnership in this endeavor.
In her address, Al-Enezi commended the Ibrahim Taher Al-Baghli Foundation for its efforts in instilling educational values derived from religious teachings, constitutional principles, and Arab cultural heritage. She expressed gratitude to civil society institutions for their contributions to educational, cultural, and social activities benefiting students.
Raed Al-Baghli, Vice Chairman of Al-Mabarrah’s Board of Directors, delivered a speech on behalf of his father, acknowledging the honor of sponsoring the award. He highlighted Al-Mabarrah’s commitment to supporting charitable projects since its inception in 2007, underscoring the organization’s dedication to social, humanitarian, voluntary, and educational initiatives in Kuwait.
Al-Baghli expressed gratitude to Ali Hassan, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Award, and all the heads and members of the working groups involved in the initiative.
