Oil minister faces grilling
KUWAIT: The Cabinet postponed a meeting that was scheduled Thursday till sometime next week to discuss the government’s final decision about the two grilling motions filed on the coming parliamentary session’s agenda.
In this regard, a parliamentary source said that the government intends to face the grilling motion filed against the oil minister, Hani Hussein and to demand referring another filed against the interior minister to either the legislative or constitutional parliamentary committees.
Meanwhile, MP, Adel Al-Kharafi said that the Independent Bloc would support MP, Nasser Al-Marri in his grilling motion against the oil minister concerning the Dow issue.
He added that the bloc had held a meeting during which Al-Marri briefed the members on the documents he had to back up his motion. —
