Kuwait Mar Thoma Church golden jubilee celebrations

The valedictory meeting of the yearlong golden jubilee celebrations of Kuwait Marthoma parish will be held as “Ecclesia - 2013 on Friday, May 31, 2013 at NECK with Holy Communion service starting at 6.00 AM followed by public meeting. On the occasion ‘Valiya’ Metropolitan Rev Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom, who completed the diamond jubilee of his Episcopal ordination will be honored. The blood bank donated to Kattanam Mission Hospital to commemorate the jubilee will be informally inaugurated. The declaration on starting of a professional Counseling & Guidance Center in Kuwaitas part of the jubilee celebrations and release of a book on the meditations of Mar Chrysostom will be released on the occasion.

Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom, Metropolitan, Dr Joseph Marthoma, will lead the Holy Communion with Episcopa Dr Joseph Mar Barnabas. The public meeting will be attend apart from the Bishops, Indian Ambassador Satish C Mehta, distinguished guests like former Kuwait Health Minister Dr. Hilal Al Sayer, Marafi Foundation Chairman Abdul Ilah Marafi, Abdul Fatah Marafi Immanuel Gareeb, the vicars of various Episcopal churches in Kuwait and other dignitaries. Committees of 111 members are working for the success of Ecclesia 2013.
