Sayid Aslam Thangal receives warm reception from Kuwaiti merchants
Awell-known Philanthropist and Spiritual leader Sayid Aslam Thangal was given welcome by Dr Waleed Dawood Al Najjar, Former Asst. Undersecretary of Ministry of Communications, Government of Kuwait. Dr Najjar shared his old memories during his earlier acquaintance with Sayid Aslam since the year 1982.
Sayid Aslam Thangal was on a short trip to Kuwait by the invitation of Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society. Aslam Thangal hails from Kannur district of Kerala State is the Founding Chairman of Al Mashoor Foundation for Prophetic Legacy as well as the Chief Patron of Darul Al-Hasanath Orphanage Committee, Patron of SKSSF (Samastha Kerala Ulama Federation) and number of philanthropic associations in Kannur District. Aslam Thangal is a helping hand for poor and underprivileged people in Kerala. Mashoor Foundation for Prophetic Legacy has initiated construction of a complex house for the poor autism children as well as down syndrome diseased kids in Belathur, Kannur District, Kerala, India.
During Sayid Aslam Thangal’s very brief stay in Kuwait, President of Kuwait Kerala Islamic Council, Sahikh Shamsuddin Faisi also hosted a warm reception at Sangham Hotel. In addition to couple of business Institutions Kuwaiti businessman and a distinguished personality Hani Bader Abdul Wahab Al-Othman, also hosted a warm reception to the visiting guest Sayid Aslam Thangal at his diwaniya located at Rawdha. During the both events, Indo Kuwait Friendship Society Vice President Attorney Sayid Nizar, President Dr Ghalib Al-Mashoor also attended in the reception. Kerala Businessmen Hanief Saheb, Anwar Saheb, Nasir Thangal and other community members were also hosted reception in honor of Aslam Thangal.
Sayid Aslam Al Mashoor Thangal in his reply speech extended warm gratitude and regards to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, and the people of Kuwait.
