Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre officially opens ‘extravagant ballroom’
KUWAIT: Millennium Hotel & Convention Center officially opened its door yesterday for its newest and ‘the most extravagant ballroom’ available in Kuwait today. The event was held amid live classical music played live on stage by invited foreign guest performer and sumptuous international buffet. Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre Kuwait hosted its first ‘Get Together Dinner for VIPs, Media Representatives and selected invitees to showcase the newly-opened hotel to the public.
Dani Saleh, Area General Manager of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Kuwait, provided the guest an overview of the 5-star hotel, which offers 295 stylish rooms and suites along with business and events facilities, encompassing 21 high-tech function rooms and a dedicated management team. Saleh explained that Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre is able to accommodate the needs of large-scale international conferences, weddings and exhibitions.
Guests were also informed about the hotel’s own Lamar International Restaurant, a haven for international cuisine featuring live cooking stations with modern decor. Separately, the hotel operates the one-of-a-kind Library Cafe, where premium teas, coffees and light food items are served. The Library Cafe’s most distinguishing quality is a tempting book selection that is on offer for guests to enjoy while they soak in the relaxing atmosphere. Moreover, Saleh announced that the hotel will soon unveil Big Fish, a prestigious international seafood restaurant due to open its doors in early 2016. By the end of 2015, the hotel will have completed a new road entrance in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works leading directly from Fahaheel Expressway to ensure rapid and safe passage.
