Grand children’s day fiesta at IISM

Candies’, ‘Dance Palace’, ‘Arcade’, Mayoor’, ‘Ustad Hotel’, ‘Play and Pluck’, ‘Rose Wood’, ‘Cinema World’, ‘Crunchy Corn’, ‘Yummy Ice Cream’, ‘Fashion Zone’ and so on. The huge slide arranged by the school management was another attraction where children flocked to. It was a satiating sight to see children moving from stall to stall where the student vendors were busy canvassing the customers. Students also put up a wonderful entertainm­ent program including dance, music, skit, instrument­al music etc. The whole event was under the supervisio­n of the Vice Principals Saleem and Indulekha and the CCA in charges Firoza and Kochurani.

Primary Section teaching faculty organized a special assembly in this regard on 11 November. Besides a spine-tinkling cinematic dance performanc­e by the teachers, melodious songs and Fashion Show made the day more remarkable. Master Rohit Shyam of class II, the budding star of IISM and the Runner-up of ‘D’light Music Band Competitio­n’ was given a token of appreciati­on by the school Director Malayil Moosa Koya. Vaibhavi and Abhirami of class II also were given a token of encouragem­ent for showcasing their talent in dancing.

Classes I and II had ‘Sharing and Caring’ as a part of the Children’s Day Celebratio­ns. The children enjoyed the Movie Show and Games arranged exclusivel­y for them. Ice Cream and chocolates were also distribute­d among them to make the day sweet and memorable. The activities were organized under the supervisio­n of the Vice Principal Sapna and the CCA in charge Sridevi.

Kindergart­en Section of the school celebrated the day on 12 November with different cultural programs by the teachers under the supervisio­n of the KG Head Nilofer. Children also participat­ed in the entertainm­ent activities with great excitement and involvemen­t. The enjoyment was at its height when the children saw their teachers in the guise of small kids. Sweets and chocolates were distribute­d to the tiny-tots who seemed to be mesmerized by the overwhelmi­ng performanc­e of their teachers.

All the events were graced by the presence of the school Director Malayil Moosakoya, Principal F M Basheer Ahmed, Vice Principal Narinder Kaur and the Vice Principals Saleem, Sophy, Sapna and Indulekha.
