Informatics forum seeks roadmap for digital projects
KUWAIT: The global informatics forum 2015 slated for early December will seek through its sessions to design a roadmap on the stages of digital projects, organizers of the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali AlSabah Informatics Award said yesterday.
The forum, to be held under: prerequisites for success of digital projects in knowledge economy, will be co-organized by Sheikh Salem AlAli AlSabah Informatics Award and the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), the organizers said in a statement. It is basically on economy and the four sessions will focus on how to reach an idea for a digital project, and the subsequent stages, the statement added.
The idea is a major pillar for accessing the world of business and it is the hardest step for an entrepreneur, the statement said. A panel session will be devoted to the fact that a sound idea is the base of a successful digital project.
A host of entrepreneurs from developed and developing countries - Bahrain, France, Germany and Brazil - will address the session on their experience and projects, especially how they could reach a sound idea.
A Kuwaiti entrepreneur, Abdullah Al-Zaben, a company founder and CEO, will review his experience and how his idea turned into a successful digital project. He will also address the difficulties that face entrepreneurs in the field of small and medium-size enterprises, in general, and in digital projects in particular. The forum, the first of the kind in the Middle East, seeks to encourage the Kuwaiti youth to enter the world of knowledge economy.
