Dubai Chamber chief lauds ties with Kuwait
DUBAI: Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry Majid Al-Ghurair has commended the deep-rooted relations and fruitful cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait, in particular trade ties.
Kuwaiti traders have played a significant role in developing Dubai’s economy since a long time ago, Al-Ghurair said on Sunday during a meeting with Consul of Kuwait General Consulate in Dubai and Northern Emirates Theyab Al-Rashidi. There are some 554 Kuwaiti companies registered at the chamber, besides many others in the free zones in Dubai, Ghurair said.
Meanwhile, Rashidi told KUNA that he handed Ghurair an invitation for the Dubai Chamber to take part in the first Kuwait International Trading Fair, slated for 2127 February 2016 under the theme ‘Kuwait is the heart of world’s business.’ He said that Kuwait is keen on the participation of the Emirati public and private sectors in the fair, for the distinguished bilateral ties. —KUNA
