Kuwait to take part in Nanotech forum in Oman
KUWAIT: Kuwait will take part in the Second Gulf Forum on Nanotechnology Awareness due to begin in Sultanate of Oman tomorrow, the International Movement for Leisure Activities in Science and Technology (MILSET) declared on Friday.
President of MILSET Regional Office for Asia Adnan Almeer said in a statement yesterday that Kuwait would be represented with a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Kuwait University. The two-day forum, sponsored by Omani Minister of Education Dr Madiha Bin Ahmad Al-Shibaniya, is co-organized by MILSET and Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science. The forum, involving nanotechnology experts from Oman, regional and foreign countries, is aimed at examining latest innovations in the sector and other nations’ experience in including this science in teaching curricula. It will be accompanied by diverse activities, workshops and seminars on means of applying this modern technology. —KUNA
