Supporting scientific research ‘vital’

CAIRO: Beefing up support for scientific research is vital for education development in Arab countries, Kuwait’s Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr Bader Al-Essa said on the sideline of the 15th conference of Arab ministers of higher education and scientific research. Financing higher education and scientific research is of Kuwait’s main interest, he said, pointing out Kuwait’s move to establish centers for evaluation and measurement of progress, as well as a training center for students of higher education. — KUNA
